The Punjab PDWP Approved Three Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 5577.160 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 78th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.         

The approved development schemes included:

  • Establishment of Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority (PAFDA) Science Enclave Main Building Premises Lahore at the cost of PKR. 5497.64 Million
  • Upgradation of legal framework for contract enforcement (PC-II) (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 61.620 Million
  • Feasibility Study of 5-Mini Hydro Power Sites (Revised, PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 17.900 Million
