The Provincial Development Working Party Punjab approved Four development schemes of various development Sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 1620.171 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 28th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman. Provincial Secretary P&D Waseem Ajmal Chaudhary, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:
- Provision of rural poultry breeds through augmenting R&D at the cost of PKR. 65.751 Million
- Establishment of Model Veterinary Hospital at one Tehsil of each division in Punjab at the cost of PKR. 450.000 Million
- Sustainable social economic and environmental revitalization in the historic core of Multan City at cost of PKR. 251.030 Million
- Rehabilitation/concrete lining of Sharqpur Disty System (Sharqpur Disty, Jodkhke Minor, Tashpur Sub Minor and Mundi Sub Minor), District Nankana Sahib at the cost of PKR. 853.390 Million
