Punjab P&D Organized Knowledge Sharing Briefing Session for Provincial Management Officers Sindh Government at P&D Complex, Lahore

A team consisting fifty officers from Provincial Management Sindh Government visited the Planning & Development Board Punjab to meet with stakeholders and government departments to gain knowledge about working and implementation methodology of various programs in Punjab. Provincial Secretary Training Management & Research Wing, Services General Administration and Coordination Department Muhammad Aslam Ghauri was leading this delegation.

Addressing the delegation, Dr. Abid Bodla Member Planning & Development Board Punjab, during the knowledge sharing briefing, said that the purpose of putting a focus on development initiative in Punjab is to eradicate poverty and to bring ease in the lives of the impoverished divisions. For that purpose, special projects and policies have been devised and implemented in industrial, agriculture, livestock and many other social sectors and their sole purpose is to alleviate poverty in the province. 

On the occasion, Provincial Secretary Training Management & Research Wing,  Muhammad Aslam Ghauri also addressed the attendees. He said that the Sindh Government is also working day and night on poverty alleviation programs through which they have created many sustainable livelihood models that is going to benefit people of Sindh in future.

Director Punjab Economics Research Institute Dr. Shahid Adil also briefed the delegation about the working of Planning & Development Board Punjab. Joint Chief Economist Dr. Aman Ullah, Additional Secretary P&D Dr. Lubna Nazir, Kunwar Anwar Ali Khan Deputy Secretary P&D, and other Senior Chiefs and Chiefs of Section also attended the session.
