The Punjab PDWP Approved Thirteen Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved thirteen development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 11,301.872 million.

These schemes were approved in the meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2021-22 presided over by Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The approved development schemes included Restoration of Water Logged Area in District Faisalabad at the cost of Rs. 800.684 million, Improvement / Rehabilitation of PCC / Tuff tiles, Rural Drainage and Sanitation in Jandiala Sher Khan and peripheral villages in Tehsil & District Sheikhupura at the cost of Rs. 700.000 million, Mega Urban Sewerage / Water Supply Scheme for City Hasilpur District Bahawalpur at the cost of Rs. 690.000 million, Construction of Soling Tuff Tiles and Sewerage Schemes in UC No. 1 2 3 #21 and Cantonment Area Ward No. 1, 2 and 3 Tehsil & District Bahawalpur at the cost of Rs. 408.000 million, Rehabilitation of road from Sanjwal Sangjani Road from Jhalla Khan Chowk to Bahtar Length 32.90 Km (Section I – Km 0.00 to Km 27) Tehsil & District Attock at the cost of Rs. 499.921 million, Construction of Road 75-Mor to 43/3R via 63/4R, 39/3R, 42/3R, 41/3R, 61/4R, 62/4R, 64/4R, 57/4R, 56/4R Chakian To 55/4R, Length 16.00 Km, District Bahawalnagar at the cost of Rs. 458.40 million, Construction of Metalled Road from Nishter-II to Lar (Bahawal Pur Road) via Basti Jam Pur & Qasaba Maral in PP-212, Length 12.00 Km (Length Taken = 5.00 Km), Tehsil and District Multan at the cost of Rs. 439.876 million, Construction of Metalled Road Bail Battar 2nd Portion to Peer Gannu, Length=30.00 Km, D.G. Khan at the cost of Rs. 480.000 million, Installation of 175 Water Filtration Plants for Provision of Safe Drinking Water in Three Divisions of Punjab (Bahawalpur, DG Khan & Multan) (South Zone) at the cost of Rs. 664.750 million, Installation of 350 Water Filtration Plants for Provision of Safe Drinking Water in the 6 Divisions of Punjab (Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal and Sargodha) (North Zone) at the cost of Rs. 1,328.440 million, Provision of Water Filtration Plants in Villages of Tehsil Kamalia and Tehsil Pir Mahal District T.T. Singh at the cost of Rs. 500.000 million, Construction of Flyover at Roadway Crossing from Old Civiline Dhobi Mor to Factory Area Chow, Length 1500 Rft City Sargodha at the cost of Rs. 903.674 million and Pilot Shrimp Farming Cluster Development Project at the cost of Rs. 3,428.127 million.

Provincial Secretary P&D Mujahid Sherdil, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
