The Punjab PDWP Approved Eleven Development Schemes of Various Sector

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved eleven development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 16,038.945 million.

These schemes were approved in the meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2021-22 presided over by Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The approved development schemes included Technical Feasibility Study of Kotli Sattian and Santh Ni Khuri Dams in Tehsil Kotli Satian (DDP) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 53.796 million, Rehabilitation of Road from Qila Dedar Singh to Sheikhupura Road Ghuman Wala, Gujranwala at the cost of Rs. 550.000 million, Provision of Safe Drinking Water in Six District of Punjab (DG Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Lodhran, Bahawalpur & Rahim Yar Khan) by Utilizing 111 Existing Bore Holes of PSPC (South Zone) at the cost of Rs. 5,829.850 million, Provision of Safe Drinking Water in District Faisalabad by utilizing 66 existing boreholes of Punjab Saaf Pani Company (North Zone) at the cost of Rs. 3,691.410 million, City Uplift Package Minchinabad (Sewerage, Drainage, Water Supply, Street Lights, Road) Tehsil Minchanabad City, District Bahawalpur at the cost of Rs. 800.00 million, Construction Soling Drainage tuff tile Sewerage and Water Supply and Rehabilitation of water supply in U/C No. 70,71,72,73,74,75,76,88,02,03,04 and Yazman at the cost of Rs. 440.000 million, Smart City Planning and Implementation (SCPI) Consulting Firm for Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 227.285 million, Punjab E-Commerce Initiatives (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 1.700 million, Supporting the Chip Design Industry in Punjab (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 4.900 million and Water Supply Scheme for UC-76, 77 & 78 Rawalpindi i/c Shah Faisal Colony, Dhoke Hafiz, Chaklala & adjoining Area District Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs. 600.000 million.

Provincial Secretary P&D Mujahid Sherdil, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
