The Punjab PDWP Approved Nine Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved nine development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 6,749.571 million.

These schemes were approved in the meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2021-22 presided over by Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The approved development schemes included Establishment of Natural History Museum, Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 17.000 million, Taleem Sab Kay Liay Project (Phase-II) (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 825.774 million, Widening and Carpeting of metal road from Kotla Musa Khan to Kachi Mor and Flyover at Firdous Cinema Phatak Tehsil Ahmedpur East District Bahawalpur (Length 4.72 Km) at the cost of Rs. 950.000 million, Up-Gradation of DHQ Hospital Bhakkar District Bhakkar at the cost of Rs. 799.996 million, Up-gradation of Govt. General Hospital (from 50 Bedded to 250 Bedded) Samanabad District Faisalabad at the cost of Rs. 897.186 million, Enhancing Technical Capability of P&D Board, Strengthening Coherence, Coordination and Monitoring for Sustainable Development after COVID-19 and Capacity Development for Improved Service Delivery at the cost of Rs. 650.000 million, Establishment of a New Small Industrial Estate in Gujrat at the cost of Rs. 1,325.000 million, Protection of Irrigation Infrastructure and Abadies between RD: 206-224 of Minchin Flood Bund near Ahmad Kuddan at the cost of Rs. 1,243.753 million and Review of Feasibility Studies and Detail Design for Drainage Schemes in Selected Area of Irrigation Zone Bahawalpur (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 40.862 million.

Provincial Secretary P&D Mujahid Sherdil, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
