The Punjab PDWP Approved Five Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 5,712.595 million.

These schemes were approved in the 43rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2021-22 presided over by Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The approved development schemes included Establishment of 50 Bedded Mother and Child Hospital in Tehsil Kot Adu, District Muzaffargarh at the cost of Rs. 852.723 million, Construction of Population Welfare House, Punjab at the cost of Rs. 773.928 million, Feasibility Study for Construction of Catch Water (Saline) Drain from Quarry Sties of Mines & Minerals Department (Chak 116, 123 & 126, District Sargodha to Faqeeria-Sillanwali Drain) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs. 14.986 million, Rehabilitation / Improvement / Carpeting of City Roads (Defence Road, Shahabpura Road, Eminabad Road to Sunyarawala Pull, Raam Gharha to Darbaar Touheed Shah Road, Abbot Road, Railway Road, Circular Road, Jail Road, Khawaja Safdar Road, Kashmir Road, Sublime Chowk to Marala Road, Gohad Pur Road, Lari Adda Road to Bhed Pully, Imam Sahib Road, Haji Pura Road, Adalat Garah Road, Khadim Ali Road, Commissioner Road, Islamia College Road, Murray College Road, Etc) of District Sialkot at the cost of Rs. 670.958 million and Eco-Friendly Public Transport Operations in the cities of Punjab at the cost of Rs. 3,400.000 million.

Provincial Secretary P&D Mujahid Sherdil, all Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
