The Punjab PDWP meeting approved eight development schemes of the Local Government and P&S Healthcare sector.

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved eight development schemes of the Local Government and P&S Healthcare sector with an estimated cost of Rs 16422.622 million.

These schemes were approved in the 03rd meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of the current financial year 2023-24 presided over by the Chairman P&D Board Mr.Ali Sarfraz Hussain.

The Approved development schemes are included:

Establishment of Project Management Unit (PMU): Revamping work of DHQ / THQ Hospitals in the Punjab (Revised) at the cost of Rs 1631.132 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) in Tehsil Alipur at the cost of 2823.058 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase: Cluster North Tehsil Noorpur Thal (Lot-2) at the cost of Rs 2589.412 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase: Cluster South-III (Taunsa) at the cost of Rs 5973.190 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase: Cluster South-I (Project: Phase IV- Revenue villages Tehsil Khairpur Tamewali, District Bahawalpur) at the cost of 362.660 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase: Cluster Central-I (Tehsil Darya Khan) at the cost of Rs 1867.720 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase: Cluster South-I (Project:Phase IV- Revenue villages Tehsil Bahawalnagar)at the cost of Rs 781.310 million. Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase: Cluster Central-II Pakpattan. Package-4 3 Nos. Revenue Villages: (Farid Pur Dogran, Ghuri, Sohara) at the cost of Rs 394.140 million.

Secretary P&D Board Mr. Sohail Anwar, all Members of the P&D Board, provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
