The review meeting of World Bank-funded projects in Punjab was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Punjab, Mr. Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Chairman P&D Board Mr. Ali Sarfraz Hussain. The World Bank team was led by Country Director Pakistan, Mr. Najy Benhassine. Secretary P&D Board, Mr. Sohail Anwar, members of the P&D Board; Secretaries of all administrative departments and representatives of the World Bank were also present in the meeting. The Chief Secretary advised the programme directors to complete their projects in a rapid manner. While the Country Director acknowledged the project directors' steadfast commitment to their project and promised their help in the case of any problem. At the end, Chief Secretary Punjab and Country Director expressed their gratitude to the attendees and stressed the importance of strengthening and promoting connections with development partners, also the execution process of committed pipeline projects. 19.07.2023
