The PDWP approved four development schemes of P&S Healthcare sector with an estimated cost of Rs 17416.051 million, in its 18th meeting of the current financial year 2023-24.
Chairman P&D Board Mr.Iftikhar Ali Sahoo chaired the meeting. Secretary P&D Board Mr.Nadir Chattha was also present.
Approved schemes are:
1) Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer. (Revised) at the cost of Rs 2194.054 million.
2) Enhanced HIV/AIDS Control Programme Punjab (3 Years) Phase-II at the cost of Rs 5,337.297 million.
3) Chief Minister's Stunting Reduction Programme (Revised) at the cost of Rs 5,279.841 million.
4) Prime Minister Health Initiative. (Revised) at the cost of Rs 4604.859 million.
All Members of the P&D Board, provincial Secretaries of concerned departments, and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
