A framework of cooperation was signed between the P&D Board, Punjab, and the National Disaster Risk Management Fund.
Chairman P&D Board, Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, and CEO NDRMF, Mr. Bilal Anwar, signed the framework of cooperation.
Chairman P&D Board, Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests in attendance and also commended the signing ceremony for being a first step towards climate financing. He discussed the significance of the signing ceremony of cooperation for climate financing and carbon credits. He added that this will help in identifying a better plan for developing a better strategy to reduce the effects of carbon emissions and urged the relevant departments to take technical support for the experts.
