Chairman P&D Board Mr Iftikhar Ali Sahooo visited Safari Park Lahore
Secretary Forest, Mr. Muddasir Waheed Malik, and DG Wildlife, Mr Mubeen Elahi, welcomed him.
Chairman P&D Board reviewed the ongoing development of the Lahore Safari Project.
DG Wildlife Mubeen Elahi gave a briefing about the Lahore Safari Park project and said that we are going to make it state-of-the-art where giraffes, lions, black jaguar, deer, zebras, Blue Bull, and other animals will be available for the entertainment of the people.
Chairman P&D Board, along with Secretary Forest and DG Wildlife, visited all the blocks of the Lahore Safari Park to observe the development work on site.
Chairman P&D Board, Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, said that the wall height of the general reception area should be reduced and to keep the civil work to a minimum at the Safari Zoo. He said the maximum number of trees should be planted to preserve the Safari Park's natural beauty. He added that the establishment of a modern safari park will provide the citizens with the best entertainment facilities and enhance the capacity and charm of the park.
Chairman P&D Board instructed DG Wildlife to provide estimates for the redesign and functionalization of Safari Lake to include it in the project.
