Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, chaired the meeting regarding the Solarization of Fossil Fuel-Operated Agriculture Tube Wells in Punjab.
The project's progress was reviewed by the chair in light of their present and future ambitions.
The Chair said the farmers are our assets and the GOP is trying to provide the best facilities to the farmers.The Chair highlighted several positive outcomes from the solarization of tube wells, such as reduced dependency on expensive diesel fuel and grid electricity& environmental benefits. Furthermore , the Chair said that the solarization of agriculture tube wells would support sustainable agriculture and energy efficiency in Punjab.
