Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, chaired a meeting with the team of Center for Climate & Environmental Research (CCER) to discuss the rapid climate and environmental changes in Punjab.
COO of CCER Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, outlined CCER's efforts to combat climate change, particularly addressing smog in Punjab. He highlighted ongoing initiatives by CCER in green infrastructure and urban waste management and presented recommendations to tackle the smog issue in Punjab.
Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, emphasized the Punjab government's determination to address the smog situation. He stated that all stakeholders should play their roles honestly and diligently in addressing the issue and supported CCER's recommendations. Both sides look forward to mutual understanding.
