Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, chaired a Pre-PDWP meeting to discuss the Chief Minister Punjab Skills Development Program for Transgenders.
This innovative initiative aims to transform lives of transgenders by providing targeted training and development in key areas including performing arts, beauty & personal care, culinary arts, ICT, and textiles. The program focuses on skill-building, community development, and economic empowerment, ensuring social inclusion and advocacy for the transgenders community.
Secretary P&DB Dr. Tufail emphasized that this program is significant to equip transgenders with the essential skills needed to thrive and contribute positively to society.
Joint Chief Economist P&DB Mr Ahmad Kamal Mann, Sr Chief RP Mr Mahmood ul Hassan, CEO PSDF Mr Ahmed Khan, reps of P&DB, FD, M&E and others participated.
