The PDWP Approves Three Development Schemes Worth Over Rs 5 Billion

In the 57th meeting of the current fiscal year 2024-25, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by the Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, approved three development schemes totaling Rs 5,542.411 million. The approved schemes include: 1. Construction of a Flyover at GT Road Chan Da Qila Chowk, District Gujranwala at a cost of Rs 1,349.284 million. 2. Carpet Road from Nowshera Virkan to Hafizabad via Nathu Siwiya Buggay, including Khan Musalman Bypass (Length: 31.22 km), District Gujranwala at a cost of Rs 1,229.925 million. 3. Rehabilitation/Improvement of Faisalabad-Satiana-Tandlianwala-Mari Pattan-Okara Road (Length: 61.07 km, Section from Chamraill Jhall to Maripattan, Length: 33.39 km), District Faisalabad at a cost of Rs 2,963.202 million. The meeting was attended by the Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officials.
