A one-day workshop on DataHub Punjab was organized at the Planning and Development (P&D Board) in collaboration with the Punjab Resource Management & Policy Unit (PRMP), PITB, and the Bureau of Statistics (BOS) Punjab. 📊 The workshop was chaired by the Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, he highlighted the critical role of data in shaping effective policies and promoting transparency in governance. Furthermore, he emphasized how data-driven decision-making can enhance administrative efficiency and improve public service delivery. The Director General BOS, Mr. Sajid Rasul, also emphasized the importance of statistical data in informed policy-making. 📈 His remarks underscored that accurate data is essential for creating impactful policies that benefit the public. The DG IT Solutions PITB, Mr. Waqar Qureshi, provided an insightful overview and live demonstration of the DataHub portal, showcasing how it improves data accessibility and supports efficient decision-making across government departments. 💻🚀 The workshop saw active participation from officers of the P&D Board, including Planning Officers (POs) and Assistant Chiefs (ACs), fostering an interactive learning environment. 🎯 The Managing Director PRMP, Mr. M. Ahmad Rajwana, assured that PRMP will continue organizing training sessions to build the capacity of officers and ensured seamless coordination among all stakeholders.
