In the 58th meeting of the current fiscal year 2024-25, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by the Chairman P&D Board, Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, approved five development schemes totaling Rs 14,700.723 million. The approved schemes include: 1) Rehabilitation/Augmentation of Comprehensive Sewerage and Drainage Scheme in Raiwind City, District Lahore (Phase-I) at an estimated cost of Rs 1,814 million. 2) Rehabilitation of Comprehensive Water Supply Scheme in Raiwind City, District Lahore at an estimated cost of Rs 1,388 million. 3) Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha at a cost of Rs 8,546.019 million. 4) Specialized Medical Equipment for Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha at a cost of Rs 2,906.780 million. 5) Feasibility Study on Remodeling and Rehabilitation of the 3R-Abbasia Drainage System to Address Water Logging of Agricultural Land under CCA of Abbasia Canal in Tehsil Liaquatpur and Tehsil Rahim Yar Khan (PC-II) at a cost of Rs 45.924 million. The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board, Dr. Asif Tufail, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officials.
