The 23rd meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) chaired by Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman P&D Board Punjab, approved 17 development schemes across multiple sectors to accelerate growth and improve public services.
Schemes Include:
Construction of Underpasses at Charing Cross, Race Course Chowk & Army Graveyard Chowk, Rawalpindi (Rs. 6,000M)
Project Readiness Financing Facility for Punjab Water Resources Management (Rs. 1,276M)
Feasibility Study for a 50-Bedded Hospital in Bhurban, Murree (PC-II) (Rs. 13.911M)
Underground Parking Facilities at Nasir Bagh, Mochi Gate, Sheranwala Gate & Taxali Gate, Lahore (Rs. 24,697M)
Punjab Development Program for Improved Sewerage & Drainage Systems in Toba Tek Singh, Gojra, Jaranwala, Kot Radha Kishan, Bhakkar, Burewala, Gaggo City, Bahawalnagar & Khushab (Rs. 54,239M)
Chairman P&D Board Dr Naeem Rauf said these schemes will boost infrastructure, enhance healthcare, improve water management, and upgrade urban facilities across Punjab.
The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Mr. Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Mr. Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and senior officers.
