The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved development scheme of Urban Development Sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 5059.01 Million.
The scheme was approved in the special meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2018-19 presided by the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development scheme included:
- Augmentation of water supply to Rawalpindi City based on Chahan Dam particularly new areas added in WASA’s Jurisdiction, Rawalpindi at the cost of PKR. 5059.01 Million
