The Punjab PDWP Approved Five Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party has approved five development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 6521.714 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 16th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2018-19 presided by the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included:

  • Teacher's Training Program (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 550.343 Million, Third Party Evaluation of Literacy Interventions (Revised PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 26.795 Million
  • Punjab Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 1,205.150 Million
  • Storm Water Drainage System for Haji Camp to River Ravi via Laxmi Chowk, Mcleoad Road, Nabha Road, Chuburji and Sham Nagar, Lahore (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 3,202.07 Million
  • Establishment of Citizen Facilitation and Service Centers (E-Khidmat Markaz) (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 1,537.356 Million
