The Punjab PDWP Approved Four Development Schemes of Irrigation & Health Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of Irrigation & Health sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 17070.301 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 33rd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.       

The approved development schemes included:

  • Construction of Dadhocha Dam, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 6137.571 Million
  • Rehabilitation and upgradation of Fakhar Flood Bund RD 10+600 to 25+300m Rajanpur (DCRIP) at the cost of PKR. 636.56 Million
  • Rehabilitation and upgradation of River Training Works of Balloki Head Works, District Kasur and Nankana Sahib (DCRIP) at the cost of PKR. 1303.17 Million
  • Chief Minister’s Stunting Reduction Program at the cost of PKR. 8993.000 Million
