The Punjab PDWP Approved Six Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved six development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR. 14107.929 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 6th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2019-20 presided by the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani. All members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries of concerned departments and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included:

  • Punjab Non-Formal Education Project (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 8,488.773 Million, Taleem Sab Kay Liay (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 628.519 Million
  • Establishment including civil works, procurement, installation and maintenance of 12 permanent weigh stations and 36 mobile weigh stations under Axle Load Management Regime in Punjab (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 766.390 Million
  • Project Readiness Financing (PRF) of Punjab Water Resources Management (PC-II) at the cost of PKR. 919.020 Million
  • Construction of river training works on Indus River for protection of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Hakla Bridge, District Mianwali at the cost of PKR. 2761.547 Million
  • Disaster and Climate Resilience Improvement Project (DCRIP) PDMA Component, Sub Project: procurement for capacity enhancement of PDMA and Twenty (20) DDMAs, Punjab at the cost of PKR. 543.680 Million
