The Punjab PDWP Approved Three Development Schemes of Road Sector

Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Road Sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 6183.348 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 71st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided by the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included:

  • Dualization of Road Jandiala Sher Khan, Hiran Minaar, Minor Road to Chichoki Mallian via Allama Mashraqi Park along railway line lenght: 11.15 km, Sheikhupura (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 473.536 Million
  • Construction of bridge over River Indus near Miranpur on Linking N-55 at Arbi Tibba with R.Y. Khan length: 4000 RFT at the cost of PKR. 5298.667 Million
  • Construction of dual carriageway from Ganaish Wah Canal to Katchery Chowk length: 2.00 km, Muzaffargarh at the cost of PKR. 411.145 Million
