The Punjab PDWP Approved Three Development Schemes of Various Sectors

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of PKR.12556.25 Million.

These schemes were approved in the 8th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2018-19 presided over the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included:

  • Expansion of family welfare centers and introduction of community based family planning workers (Revised) at the cost of PKR. 2,740.851 MillionĀ 
  • Land acquisition for development of PSEZ (Allama Iqbal Industrial Estate) M-3, Faisalabad at the cost of PKR. 6,300.000 MillionĀ 
  • Construction, improvement and rehabilitation of at grade works along Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Corridor at the cost of PKR. 3,515.399 Million
