The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of Local Government Sector with an estimated cost of PKR. 33488.24 Million.
These schemes were approved in the 9th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2018-19 presided by the Chairman P&D Habib ur Rehman Gilani. Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included:
- Upgradation of existing solid waste management sanitation and miscellaneous equipment for Sahiwal and Sialkot Cities (Phase-I) (PICIIP) at the cost of PKR. 958.000 Million
- Punjab Cities Program (PCP) (Umbrella PC-I) at the cost of PKR. 32,530.24 Million
